Graham is well known in the town having set the company up in 1995. Prior to this he worked for Gordon Vick and Partners in Okehampton, and then managed the former Cornerstone office here in Crediton. Graham is also a former independent financial advisor, and has an excellent knowledge of all aspects of residential property including land and planning.
In his spare time Graham enjoys road cycling, often taking part in races and challenges, skiing and is also a former captain of Crediton Rugby Club. He lives near Crediton with his wife Julie. Graham is a licensed member of the National Association of Estate Agents, and holds the National Federation of Property Professional’s Technical Award in Residential Lettings and Property Management.
Rupert has spent all his working life in the property market serving his apprenticeship with another Crediton firm, before joining Graham in 2004 to become office manager. He has a good knowledge of the ever changing field of legislation in residential sales and lettings. Rupert is a licensed member of both the Association of Residential Letting Agents and the National Association of Estate Agents, holds the certificate in Block Management from ARMA, and previously served as an assessor for the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors in the Real Estate pathway.
In his spare time Rupert enjoys surfing and distance running, and is well known in the town being the son of the former vicar of Crediton.
Jen is well known to many in the town having worked in various roles within estate agency, as well as a career with HM Courts Services and nursing. She also set up and ran a social club located in the town centre. Jen has maintained an interest in the property market since she was eighteen, and is a Landlord herself. With an empathic nature, great customer service skills and a superb work ethic, Jen is a great lettings manager, and is a fully qualified member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents. In her spare time Jen enjoys watching her children play for Crediton RFC, and together with her husband Andrew, the whole family enjoy days at Sandy Park following the Exeter Chiefs.
Kathy joined the firm at the start of 2012 as a Negotiator and completed an NVQ in Residential Estate Agency. Kathy has had a varied role with us; from accounting to health and safety, and following the birth of her daughter now works on a part time basis, looking after much of the compliance of the office from a sales and lettings perspective.
Kathy is well known in the town, she went to school in Cheriton Fitzpaine and at Queen Elizabeth’s. In her spare time Kathy enjoys baking and following local football teams, as well as keeping fit by running and hitting the gym! Kathy lives in the town with her husband Matt and their daughter.
Amy joined Carter Geering at the end of 2017. She previously worked for another agent locally where she built a strong reputation for progressing sales through to completion, and was awarded for her communication skills by an Estate Agency Consortium. Amy has an NVQ in Business and Administration and was previously an Associate Member of the Guild of Professional Estate Agents. Following this, Amy worked for a local solicitors as a conveyancing legal secretary, gaining further knowledge of property transactions and the legal implications.
In her spare time Amy manages and plays for a local football team, and enjoys visiting National Trust properties.
Michelle has a background in customer care and sales, having previously worked as Customer Service Manager for Nationwide, and as a negotiator for another local estate agency. She currently carries out a variety of roles for us, including heading up our social media and marketing.
In her spare time Michelle enjoys being by the coast, aerobics, socialising and being a soccer mum! She also serves on the PTA at Haywards School in the town. Family time is important to Michelle, and weekends are mostly spent outdoors with the family.
Prior to working for Carter Geering Catherine worked for an interior furnishings company undertaking their marketing and admin duties. She studied art and design in college focusing on interior design.
Nikki joined us in 2017 to oversee the accounts and office finances. Nikki is a former personal tax advisor with 25 years experience in the private client sector working for Ernst & Young, Price Waterhouse Coopers and Francis Clark.
Nikki lives in Crediton with her family and loves running and cycling in the local hills and lanes.
Barney has a varied role within the office. Some days he’s security, some days he’s a counsellor, and some days he’s the office clown. Either way we like having him around. He isn’t that productive but he is pretty cute.
In his spare time Barney enjoys hunting out snacks, jumping in muddy rivers and posing on sledges.
