is a historic village located on the Crediton to Okehampton Road. According to the 2011 census there was a population of just over 1000. The village grew in the mid 1800’s following two fires that destroyed a large part of the nearby hamlet of Nymet Tracey, which then consisted of about 70 properties. These days, Bow is a popular family village with a primary school, garden centre and Co-op mini supermarket. It is well placed for the A30 dual carriageway and links to Cornwall as well as the M5.
