Is a traditional rural village located in the heart of Mid Devon, on the A377 with good links via road and rail with Exeter and Barnstaple. Much of the village enjoys fine southerly views towards Dartmoor and is steeped in history, and the nearby Bury Barton is thought to be the site of a Roman fort. The village has a thriving local pub which is building a great reputation for its a la carte dining using local ingredients. It also has a local primary school, playing fields and playground making it popular with families. There is a spar shop and fuel station at the bottom of the village providing day to day groceries. Lapford has a station on the famous Tarka Line trainline running between Exmouth and Barnstaple calling at both Crediton and Exeter.
From Crediton head west on the A377 towards Barnstaple, follow this road until you reach Lapford cross garage. The property will then be on your left around 25 metres down the road.
